Research notes

Organised by DOT Dive Philippines with the DOT Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) office and the Puerto Galera local government, with Underwater360 as media partner. Up to six images per person, one per regular category and one per special category. One report lists Wide Angle Close Focus plus special Cephalopod and Turtle Portrait categories; another lists only Macro, Behaviour, Nudibranch and Wide Angle, so only the categories both agree on are given above. Registration fees (said to include the closing dinner) and the full judging panel were not found. 45 photographers from 13 countries took part. Category winners were not found.
