Research notes

Billed as the 15th annual edition and open for entries; entries only via the online portal. The 2026 entry fee, judging panel, opening date and results date were not found on official pages (2025 charged $10 per photo with judges Tony Wu, Marty Snyderman, Mark Strickland and Ipah Uid Lynn). Rights terms seen were attributed to the 2025 rules, so they are recorded on the 2025 edition only. Direct page fetches were blocked in this research session, so official pages were read through search-engine extracts.
