Research notes

Run by OceanNEnvironment Ltd and the Ocean Geographic Society. The terms say entries opened on 8 January 2026 and that the final deadline was extended to 6 April 2026; sponsor press releases had given 28 March. The homepage says results have been announced, but no date was found. Only four of the 18 categories were confirmed. No time zone is stated; the organiser is Australian, and the deadline is a date only. The 2025 edition ran (results around World Ocean Day, June 2025) but its deadline could not be verified, so no 2025 file was created. Direct page fetches were blocked in this research session, so pages were read through search-engine extracts.
