Your image rights

Photographer-friendly

You keep copyright and grant MontPhoto non-exclusive reproduction rights, always with your name, to show awarded and runner-up images in books, exhibitions, catalogues, posters and press promoting MontPhoto. Images may not be used for profit; other commercial uses need your prior permission, and reproduced authors receive a copy of the book.

How "Photographer-friendly" is decided
  • Read carefully: the entrant grants an exclusive licence or transfers rights, or the organiser may use entries commercially (sell, license, use in paid products).
  • Photographer-friendly: use is limited to promoting the contest, there is no commercial use by the organiser, and credit is promised.
  • Standard: everything in between — typically a broad non-exclusive licence for marketing without commercial resale.

Research notes

The 30th edition. Finalists were told the main awards would be revealed live at the gala on Friday 2 October 2026 (19:00) during MontPhoto Fest, 2–4 October 2026 in Lloret de Mar. No published winners list was found yet, so no results link. Prize figures come from the official bases and a Spanish listing site. The rights summary is based on a third-party listing of the 2026 rules, which matches the official 2025 English rules. Category A's name was not confirmed and is omitted; the jury list was not confirmed for 2026. Opening date not found. Direct page fetches were blocked in this research session, so pages were read through search-engine extracts.
